Which Bin for Schools for eligible education institutes, helping students build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to make better waste and recycling decisions every day.​

Through exciting and engaging incursions, excursions and practical resources, students build the knowledge and confidence to make choosing Which Bin second nature, at school and at home.

A journey from learning to lasting change.

​Which Bin for Schools takes students (Year 3 +) on a three-step hands-on waste and recycling journey, starting with what’s happening in their own school and building their knowledge through engaging incursions and excursions.

Waste Audit

Students roll up their sleeves and investigate what’s really going into their school’s bins, creating a baseline to uncover opportunities to improve.

Incursions

Interactive, curriculum-aligned incursions helping students understand where waste goes, why getting it right matters and the role they can play.

Excursions

Students take their learning beyond the classroom, visiting waste and recycling facilities to see first-hand what happens after their bins are collected.

TEACHER RESOURCE HUB

You don’t need to be participating in the full program to start making a difference.

Teachers can register for free access to lesson plans, classroom activities and practical resources designed to bring waste and recycling learning to life.
